NOS, Holland’s national broadcaster choose for its NED 1 TV station’s annual show >>NOS Over de doden 2012<< (about the dead) the Egripment Encoded TDT Crane Solution. The crane package delivered to the NOS consisted of an Egripment TDT crane with 306 remote head with teleprompter on 10 m Track. All axis of the setup including the 10 m Track were equipped with high resolution encoders.
The setup was used to present floating, high class graphics in HD in augmented reality together with the real-time encoded data delivered by the superior Egripment tracking interface for virtual studios and augmented reality.
The staff of Egripment Rentals delivered a one stop full service from pre-production planning, installation and precision calibration of the crane setup for augmented reality as well as onsite support during the production. Together with the partner Molden Media from Germany, Egripment Rentals delivered also the Rendering engine with onsite graphics artist onsite.
Belgium Broadcaster RTBF, based in Brussels purchased via Egripment's Dealer, Studiotech Belgium a TDT Encoded System with 306/ENC Remote Head.
The encoded crane package was successfully used during the 2012 elections in Belgium.

NEW @ IBC 2012 |EGRIPMENT - UNIVERSAL DOLLY
Egripment now announces our newest dolly in this line of products. It combines the best features of all of the above dollies, into one “Universal” dolly that is certain to meet all of our client’s needs for a Platform size dolly.
The “Universal” Dolly utilizes a completely new method of steering, it folds into a small and lightweight package that weighs only 16.8 kg / 37 lbs, it carries a very good payload of 200 kg / 440 lbs, offers a solid camera platform, and it offers steering from the back or the front side, both 2 wheel steering and also 4 wheel steering when very tight turns are required. It can also be equipped sideboards that are flat or contain 100mm or 150mm camera bowls, and can be operated with Pneumatic Wheels, Hard Rubber Wheels, or Track Wheels. When equipped with Track Wheels it runs on standard width Track of 62 cm / 24.5” wide, straight and curved.

NEW - STARCAM MKII
The Egripment StarCam MKII is the latest version of the Egripment StarCam Tower Product Line. Evolutionary improvements and based on the classic StarCam System with the possibly to use the column either up ride or hanging – all in one unit.
The all new StarCam MKII has now increased payloads, 60 kg | 132 lbs when used hanging and up to 75 kg | 165 lbs in normal operation and still fulfills even the strongest safety demands.
The telescoping remotely controlled Electric Column lifts the camera with any Remote Head, such as a HotHead, HotShot, 305 | 306, Scanner or Scanner Elite Head, straight up to a maximum height of 5,00 m | 16.40 ft.

Optional accessories like bazooka extensions, encoder package in combination with Egripment Tracking Interface for Virtual Studios and Augmented Reality as well as low mode remote brackets complete the StarCam Product Line.
ELECTIONS IN TURKEY
Egripment used our new Encoded Package for Cranes during the TV broadcasting of the Turkish elections in June 2011.
The TDT6 crane package and the 306 Remote head were both equipped with high resolution encoders. All Pan and Tilt data from the TDT6 crane arm and from the 306 remote head were transferred to the TDT Tracking interface and combined with the lens data, in such a way that all data could be used for the Virtual functions of the broadcast.
The Augmented Reality functions require much higher resolution of the encoder then with standard virtual use.
The data was then transferred per UDP to the rendering machine. In Turkey we used the Orad equipment for that purpose.
The TV set/studio was a combination of a classic Virtual studio and Augmented reality.

NEW FOR THE PROSUMER MARKET: THE PROTRAVELLER SYSTEM
As the pro consumer market is expanding, Egripment introduces its “ProTraveller System” which is a Jib / Crane system for Prosumer type cameras with a maximum payload of 10kg / 22lbs. The Pro Traveller is an affordable option for a Jib / Crane system including a remote head and can be mounted on any 100mm bowl type of connection. In the field, on track, in the studio or clamped on a balcony; there is no type of mount impossible for this light and easy Jib / Crane combination. The Pro Traveller System in its highest configuration of 6mtr / 19.7 feet, only weighs 37.4kg / 82.5lbs, which makes the crane very easy to transport.
NEW ACCESSORIES FOR MATADOR DOLLY
For a perfect low angle shot the Matador Dolly accessory range has been expanded to include the new Bowl Sideboard. This sideboard fits on all Matador Dollies and can be equipped with a 100mm or 150mm bowl to make it easy to get the best and most stable low angle images.
The Angle Adapter and the Rear Boards are designed to create more space on the Matador dolly, as the Rear Boards extend the base of the dolly and the Angle Adapter curves the handle bar for more turning space.

TDT ---- ALL IN ONE ---- REMOTE CRANE SYSTEM
The TDT Remote Crane System is a new concept for a Lightweight remote camera crane and remote head combined as a single product.
Portions of the remote head are built into the front section of the arm, and the controls at the back of the crane are built as a part of the weight bucket.
There is no other crane system like this available on the market.
We would like to add the TDT system as a “different” and completely “new” design offered at a very low price, but with the high Egripment quality all our products are known for.
The TDT crane is a modular system with 3 arm sections of 1,50 Mtr / 5 Ft. long. This gives the user the ability to transport the complete arm in a very small vehicle.
The TDT remote head technology is a combination of the Scanner Head and the SuperShot Head. The two motor sections (Pan and Tilt) of the head can be adjusted for completely nodal use. There are no slip rings available but both motor units have cleverly placed holes to guide the cabling to the camera.

In the beginning of 2006 Egripment signed contract with Sfera-Video and TEC TVC that they will be Egripment official Service Centre in Russia.
After an intense training Egripment's engineer Edwin Reuling handed over Egripment's official Service certificate to Sfera Video and TEC TVC engineers.
Sfera-Video and TEC TVC are able to maintenance and repair all Egripment products.
